Leadership is not limited to formal titles; it is a set of skills and behaviours that can be learned, practised, and strategically developed. Research consistently shows that while women demonstrate strong leadership capability, they remain underrepresented in senior and decision-making roles, often due to structural barriers, limited access to leadership development, and narrow definitions of what leadership looks like (Eagly and Carli, 2007; Ibarra, Ely and Kolb, 2013).
This workshop focuses on developing essential leadership skills required to take on and succeed in leadership roles in contemporary workplaces. It equips participants with practical tools to lead with confidence, influence others, and navigate organisational dynamics effectively. Drawing on evidence-based leadership frameworks, the session explores how women can build leadership presence, exercise authority, and position themselves for progression, particularly in complex and innovation-driven environments.
