AWEiSE (Acumenous Women-Empowerment in Intelligent Systems and Entrepreneurship) is a dynamic community of academics, innovators, and senior women business leaders united by a shared vision: to support underrepresented and marginalised women’s skills development, employability and progression in AI, data, tech and entrepreneurship. As a non-profit organisation with a strong social impact mission, we are passionate about sharing experiences, knowledge, and opportunities that help women realise their full potential.
Our Purpose
AWEiSE is dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of women leaders in Data Science and AI. We aim to upskill women graduates, enhance their representation in leadership roles, and bridge the gender gap in data-driven innovation.
According to the UK AI Opportunities Action Plan (2025), The World Economic Forum (2024), The UN Sustainability goals and LinkedIn Data (2024), gender inequality remain imperative and it is our mission and motivation for launching this movement.
